Come down to the patio of La Vita Gustosa in East Haddam Village on Saturday, March 17th, (3/18 rain date) starting at 11:30am for a uniquely delicious lunch featuring an array of hot chowders freshly-made by area restaurant chefs. For a $10 fee ($5 for children 12 and under), tasters receive a beautiful commemorative Chowder mug and a sample of all the chowders. Come early, this is a sell-out event. Proceeds will be donated to East Haddam charities and local non-profit organizations.
During the Chowder Cook-off, The East Haddam Business Association will be sponsoring their 2nd Annual Business Expo at the Gelston House. Area businesses will showcase their goods and services, offering coupons, raffles, samples and information. Stop by and see how you can save time and money by shopping local!
