Sold! E-H Free Public Library Holds Annual Auction

Here’s your chance to win some great prizes and support some great programs at the library.

 

The Friends of the East Haddam Free Public Library are holding their Annual Auction now through November 15, 2012. Proceeds go to buy new books and support library programs.

Silent Auction—Become the highest bidder for a chance to win prizes ranging from Goodspeed Opera House tickets to fuel from Maus & Son in Moodus. 

Chance Auction—Buy raffle tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5 to enter drawings for prizes like beautiful handmade quilts, toys and gift certificates to area restaurants.

Prizes are donated by local companies and members of the community. According to East Haddam Free Public Library Director Michael Gilroy, last year’s auction brought in between $2,500 and $3,000.

Stop by to see the variety of prizes available. The library is open:
Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, noon to 6 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
