Sign of Spring: East Haddam Historical Society Debuts New Sign

The East Haddam Historical Society Museum, located at 264 Town Street, started Spring off by displaying a new, eye-catching dark green and gold sign.

The East Haddam Historical Society Museum was founded over 50 years ago and is situated in a 7,000 square foot home on Rt. 82. The nine-room museum features the history of East Haddam and its villages.

Recently, the museum accepted a donation of a working, model railroad. On Wednesday evening, May 8 at 7:30 p.m., the museum is hosting Mike Miller, "Dr. Choo Choo." Miller will introduce the new train. The event is open to the public.

The museum is open Memorial Day through Columbus Day, Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. or by appointment.
