PHOTOS: Rollin on the River Car Show Draws Crowd

The weather held out Saturday for the annual Rollin on the River car show at Haddam Meadows, where dozens of cars — circa 1922 to 2013 sat upon the grassy expanse.

At the event, sponsored by the Haddam Lions Club, we saw vintage automobiles, Model T's and other early models, a motorcycle entirely engulfed by the Screaming Eagle in brassy chrome, and corvettes and mustangs galore. 

Families strolled along the rows of cars and enjoyed food along the banks of the Connecticut River.
