Calling All East Haddam Parents of Young Children
The East Haddam Early Childhood Council has an opening.
The East Haddam Early Childhood Council (EHECC) is looking for an East Haddam parent to serve on its Core Council.
The organization connects parents and other caregivers with appropriate resources to ensure that all children in the community from birth to age 5 have every opportunity available to enhance school readiness.

The Core Council is responsible for:
- Developing, promoting and supporting the values of the Council
- Setting the direction and expected results of the work of the Council
- Selecting and prioritizing strategies and activities
- Reviewing results on an ongoing basis
The Council needs input from parents to help determine whether it is on the right path. If you are interested in planning for the work of the Council, please contact Cindy Praisner, Early Childhood Coordinator, (860) 873-3296.
