The petition to stop the chemical herbicide "Glyphosate" from being used as a method for weed control in the Moodus Reservoir is still open and available to sign.
The petition will be delivered to Deptartment of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) officials and others, to show that this treatment and other forms of chemical treatments are unacceptable and unsafe for use in our lakes, streams or other waterways.
