Lakes are a reflection of the lands that drain into them - the watershed. Often that land extends beyond local, and even state boundaries. Working together as a region, the New England Chapter of the North American Lake Management (NEC-NALMS) provides opportunities for addressing lake management issues at the watershed level. Our annual conferences, hosted in a different New England state each year, present timely information in a comfortable format. Designed to appeal to citizens, scientists and professionals alike, they create an atmosphere where lake lovers from diverse backgrounds are able to learn from each other.
