Creating a Public Disturbance, Stolen Kayak, Violation of Probation and Conditions of Release, Disorderly Conduct, Risk of Injury to a Minor, Larceny and DUI through 7-24-13







The East Haddam Police and the Connecticut State Police, Troop K in Colchester report the following incidents:

CREATING A PUBLIC DISTURBANCE - On July 13th at approximately 10:00 p.m., East Hampton police were working on the fairgrounds at East Hampton's Old Home Days celebration. The fairground coordinator informed an officer that there was an intoxicated male, urinating on the dance floor in front of the band and several other people. Joseph Urbano, 23, of Elaine Drive, Moodus was issued an infraction for creating a public disturbance.

STOLEN KAYAK - On July 16th, East Haddam Police received a complaint about the theft of a"Perception" kayak, taken from the Oak Road, East Haddam area (Moodus Lake Shores community) located near the upper Moodus Reservoir. The kayak is described as being red in color, with yellow specks. Anyone with information that could help police with this investigation is asked to contact Officer Jeff Rhoades at the East Haddam Resident Troopers' Office at860-873-1226, or the Connecticut State Police, Troop K at 860-537-7500.
