Each year, migrating eagles come to the Connecticut River on their journey. For the past seven years, residents and visitors have been taking excursions on "River Quest" to see the mature and young eagles, as well as other life along the river in the spring.
Bookings are now being accepted for the special Eagle Cruise in February and March on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are required, although an occassional spot is available for walk-ons. Tickets are $40 per person, regardless of age. No children under 8 are allowed on the cruise.
