One of the vehicles has been recovered by police, after hunters had discovered it in the area of the Portland-Glastonbury State Forest.

The all-terrain diesel vehicle that remains missing is described as being green with yellow seats, outfitted with a black roll-bar and cage assembly, and has an auto-dump bed in the rear.

A Stihl leaf-blower and several gas cans were also stolen as a result of this incident.

Anyone with possible information is asked to please call 860-267-8500, or you may contact the East Hampton Police Department at 860-267-9922.
